After Team India's Loss in T20 World Cup 2010

Why Mr. Dhoni should care for us…

Because its us ‘the people’, who watch their each & every match religiously. Its because of us that the TRPs go soaring high. Its us who watch every sensible or non-sense AD in between the games too, so we don’t miss a minute of your game. Whether we are in office or traveling, our ears are tuned to latest commentary scores. We hear the commercials even, just for the sake of catching every update about the Game. It’s us, whom your sponsors target for there products. It’s because of us that you get paid handsomely by your sponsors.

To : MS Dhoni

am 1 of your biggest fan. Best part over. I am a fan of performance. You perform with your gloves or bat or captaincy skills, doesn’t bothers us, till we are not failing. Everybody fails, no shame in that. Failing in Tri-nation or other series is another thing. Failing on the grandest stage of them all, is certainly most shameful. You said “India is an emotional country”. You are wrong. India is an over-emotional country.

Cricket is almost a religion. And you are like 11 deities who guard our interest in the world of Cricket. No other sports-player earns like you all. So the bickering is obviously hardest on you.

No use of crying over spilled milk. You all gave your 100% in IPL matches. If partying late-night was tedious, you should have complained then, not now. When it came to defend your sponsors, you all did well. When it came to defend your country on the biggest platform, you failed collectively. Unacceptable! May you earn so much by IPL - 4 & 5, that you no longer need to play for nation. May devoted players take your place by then.

After our ODI World Cup 2007 loss, you brought us glory with T20 World Cup 2007. Afterwards, it has been a sorrow story. Recreate the magic once more. Try to bring the ODI World Cup 2011.

To : playing XI of Indian Cricket Team

India is an over-emotional country. Cricket has got a religious touch here. This is how it is here. If you can’t handle the pressure here, go play for some other country, where cricket is not well known.

India’s population is 1.2 billion . Even if say that 50% are females, it leaves us with 0.6 billion. Even if we say, lets exclude the senior citizen, under-19, handicaps etc, u still got 300 million eligible & willing candidates who want to earn a opportunity for playing XI. Let them feel, that the better talent qualified for the Team.

IPL is for Cricket crazy people. What’s for Cricket Lovers? Our International matches, especially the World Cups are for true Cricket Lovers & patriotic people of India. Next time you are selected for our national team, remember we would love to see you taken out on a stretcher all passed out, rather than walking with a hung face. We send our best there. We would not like it that we didn’t.

To : Yuvraj Singh

Yes dear! Without doubt we are questioning your fitness. Disciplined you are or not, we don’t care. We are questioning your commitment to the representation of National team. We won’t kill you if you are not in-form or unfit. Just make way for those who are. We will still hold you in high regards. You are our 6-sixes hero. But we can’t live in past. In T20 World Cup 2010, we were playing with only 10 players (Give us a reason, why we should count you). May you earn so much by IPL - 4 & 5, that you no longer need to play for nation. May committed players take your place by then.

Tip: Learn commitment from Kevin Peterson (England), Dirk Nannes(Australia).

To : Selectors

There was a time, when we were discussing about a second on-bench team, capable of competing internationally. So, if any of our main players is hurt/injured/unfit/unavailable we could have the reserve players coming to the fore. Is our on-bench strength have been abducted? Or the main players are hiding their injuries & fitness issue, just to gain Lakhs of match fees?

Well, Rohit Sharma played well in T20 World Cup 2010. Why was he in the team for T20 World Cup 2009? Murali Vijay!! Time & again, given a chance. Yet the results? 1-in-10 match wonder!! Ashish Nehra played well in T20 World Cup 2010? Many TV channels have calculated this. I beg to differ. Runs conceded by him manifest some another statistics. He is another 1-in-10 match wonder!! R. Jadeja, the buttery-leg man of Team India, competing for a Limca World Record for player being maximum time run-out? Hope you would keep giving him more chance, so he makes it to that. Believe us, there are plenty of us here, who can start from scratch, yet be your 1-in-10 match wonder!!

How many Indians played for under-19 along with Virat Kohli? Why only he always gets a chance? He played well in few of his many matches, & you were all praise for him. 1-in-10 match wonder!!

May be if you give me a chance to keep wickets, after 10 matches, I would play like Parthiv Patel. 20 matches & you would get Dinesh Karthik equivalent. By the 30th match, you would get another Dhoni. So, are you willing to give your 30 match contract just like that?

To : Sachin Tendulkar

With all due respect, after counting all your accomplishments, reading out your all records, 1 thing still eludes you, is a world cup winning feather in your own cap. With these kinds of Team members, that should be a dream-only for you. You have come out in support of our Indian Cricket Team. You should do so. Even I would do that. If they fail, learn from it & improve, it pays to do so. But when they repeat the mistakes, let me tell you sir, at least I feel like heating their bums.

To : Indians

You remember the down phase of Saurav Ganguly? Instead of sitting outside of Team & concentrating on improving his skills (by playing Domestics), he kept a berth in team engaged. When criticized, he bounced up with a century against Zimbabwe.

You remember after T20 World Cup 2009 loss, our team bounced back in some other lesser known tournaments! Similarly after T20 World Cup 2010 loss, our team would bounce back in some other lesser known tournaments! Cheers!

Never mind, if they similarly show their worst side in ODI World Cup 2011. Keep hope. Support Indian Cricket Team. They may show their worth against Afghanistan’s or USA’s Cricket Team.
